A half-ironic way of acknowledging a hard truth:
that the circumstances of one’s birth can profoundly shape the course of a life.
And undeniably, the gap is real.
Some are born into abundance.
Others into environments marked by severe limitation.
But here, a question inevitably arises:
Is that truly all there is to it?
Even within similar conditions—
Some rise, while others sink.
Some succeed, while others remain stuck.
What accounts for that difference?
If life were determined solely by the “parent lottery,”
then siblings born into the same household
should arrive at the same destination.
And yet—they don’t.
Which means the issue is not simply about “parents.”
There exists a more subtle layer—
a difference in underlying structure.
And that difference lies beyond what can be fully explained by
effort… or mindset alone.
That quiet sense of inconsistency—
that unresolved gap—
That is the domain RS seeks to address.
