Chapter 4

— Can Destiny Be Quantified?

Astrology is a map of destiny.

That was our conclusion in the previous chapter.

But one critical question remains:

Is a map nothing more than an ambiguous description?

■ The Limitation of Ambiguity

Traditional astrology is expressed through symbols and language.

  • “The Sun is weak”
  • “The Moon is unstable”
  • “This period is unfavorable”

Yes, the meaning comes across.

But at the same time, a question lingers:

How much?

How weak is “weak”?
How unstable is “unstable”?
How bad is “bad”?

This ambiguity—

is the fundamental limitation of astrology.

■ What If It Could Be Quantified?

Let’s introduce a simple hypothesis:

What if destiny could be expressed in numbers?

For example:

  • Sun: −262
  • Moon: −210
  • Mars: +8
  • Mercury: +92
  • Jupiter: +89
  • Venus: +25
  • Saturn: −144
  • Rahu: −80
  • Ketu: −4

If each factor were presented as a clear numerical value—

what would change?

■ Structure Becomes Visible

First and foremost:

the entire structure becomes instantly visible.

  • What is extremely weak
  • What is relatively stable
  • Where the balance is distorted

What was once vague

now appears as a concrete structure.

■ Comparison Becomes Possible

Even more importantly:

comparison becomes possible.

  • Comparison with your past self
  • Comparison with others
  • Changes across different periods

No longer:

“kind of good”
“kind of bad”

But instead:

exactly how good—or how bad.

■ Targets for Adjustment Emerge

And this is the most critical shift:

you can identify what needs to be adjusted.

In the example above:

  • Sun −262 (extremely weak)
  • Moon −210 (significantly weak)
  • Saturn −144 (strong negative influence)

These clearly form the bottlenecks.

On the other hand:

  • Mercury +92
  • Jupiter +89
  • Venus +25

These represent strengths to leverage.

■ A Fundamental Shift in Thinking

Traditional astrology promotes a passive stance:

“Be careful—your luck is bad.”

But once quantified, the perspective changes completely:

“What can be changed—and how?”

This is a decisive difference.

■ Is Destiny Fixed—or Variable?

Now we return to the essential question:

Is destiny fixed?

Traditionally, the answer has been:

  • It is determined at birth
  • It cannot be significantly changed

But the moment it is expressed numerically—

it becomes possible to treat it as a variable.

Can −262 become −200?
Can −200 become −100?
Can it even turn positive?

The moment these questions arise,

the premise that “destiny is fixed” begins to collapse.

■ The True Meaning of Quantification

Here is a crucial clarification:

The purpose of quantification is not to predict with perfect accuracy.

It is to make destiny:

something you can work with.

You can:

  • See it
  • Compare it
  • Identify it
  • And ultimately—

adjust it

When these four elements come together,

astrology ceases to be mere fortune-telling.

It becomes a technology.

■ The Bridge to RS

Now everything connects:

  • Chapter 2: Karma explains, but does not resolve
  • Chapter 3: Astrology is a map
  • Chapter 4: That map can be quantified

So what comes next?

How do we work with those numbers?

This is the domain of

RS (Reality Synthesis)

■ Moving Forward

At this point, we have established:

  • Destiny exists as a structure
  • That structure can potentially be quantified

In the next chapter, we finally enter the core:

“What is RS Alignment?”

From here, the discussion shifts—

from theory

to direct, practical application.
